Al-Andalus International Insurance Company (P.C.) is seeking a qualified Motor Claims Specialist to join its team in Baghdad.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and following up on motor insurance claims from the initial receipt and registration of the claim through the assessment and verification of damages, documents, and costs, until the claim is settled and the file is closed in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and insurance policy terms.

The role also involves coordinating and communicating with repair workshops, dealerships, surveyors, loss adjusters, experts, and other relevant parties, while ensuring that claims are properly followed up and processed within the required procedures and timelines.

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Motor Claims, preferably within an insurance company.
• Proven experience in receiving, reviewing, following up, and settling motor insurance claims from claim registration through to closure.
• Good knowledge of motor insurance policies, coverage, terms, and exclusions.
• Ability to assess vehicle damages and review repair and spare parts costs.
• Experience in dealing, coordinating, and negotiating with repair workshops, dealerships, surveyors, loss adjusters, experts, and other relevant parties.
• Good communication, organizational, follow-up, and teamwork skills.
• Professionalism, commitment, and the ability to take responsibility for assigned duties.
• Preference will be given to candidates with strong and specialized Motor Claims experience within insurance companies.
